The platform was originally developed by Ginmon GmbH for its own end-user business and has been continuously refined over the years. Today, apeiron is the technological foundation of successful B2B projects – including the investment solution of Europe’s second-largest neobank, bunq B.V., with 17 million end-users.
What many do not know: even during the development of the platform, our goal was to make it available to independent advisors over the long term. With Uli Bauer as co-founder – an experienced financial advisor with several decades of practical experience – it was clear from the outset that apeiron must not only impress technologically but also make the daily life of real advisors easier.
Now that moment has arrived: the technology has matured, the market is calling for modern alternatives – and many advisors are actively demanding a "digital level playing field" in competition with digital providers. Lars Reiner
Lars Reiner is the founder and managing director of apeiron and the Ginmon Group. Previously, he worked as a management consultant at Deutsche Bank, where he led various strategic initiatives in the retail banking sector. His particular strength lies in the combination of financial expertise with technological innovation – exactly the combination that helps independent advisors make their processes more efficient and position their business digitally for the future. In addition to his role at Ginmon, Lars Reiner is also actively involved in the Financial Services Committee of the IHK Frankfurt am Main. As a studied economist with a strong affinity for modern technologies, he drives the vision of making professional asset management more accessible for independent advisors and their clients.

Ulrich Bauer
Ulrich Bauer brings over three decades of experience as an independent financial advisor to Ginmon. His career began in 1989 at MLP AG, before he became self-employed in 2007 – driven by the desire to develop better and more client-friendly investment solutions independently. He has always specialized in supporting academics and has built deep expertise in asset planning and retirement provision. As a co-founder of Ginmon, he supports the company with his extensive know-how, consulting skills, and understanding of the needs of independent advisors. His practical expertise forms a vital foundation for the development of solutions that help advisors better support their clients.
Chief Technology Officer
Dmitriy Fot
Before Dmitriy Fot joined Ginmon, he worked as a Senior Cloud Architect at Amazon Web Services, where he was responsible for complex cloud architectures. Prior to that, he gained international experience in leadership positions at IBM in Germany and the USA. Dmitriy holds a Master's degree in IT and Media Technology from the University of Hamburg. With his technological expertise, he leads product development at Ginmon, ensuring that the platform meets the highest standards of security, scalability, and innovation, providing exactly the digital infrastructure that independent advisors need for modern and efficient work.
